One Piece has been one of the fastest-growing TCGs since its 2022 launch and Bandai continues to expand the line. If you're stepping in now, the on-ramp is easier than ever, though sought-after alt-art Leaders trade at a significant premium on the secondary market.
Start with a Starter Deck
The ST-series starter decks are the cleanest way in. Each one is fully playable out of the box, teaches the colour identity rules, and costs less than a single OP booster box. Pick a Leader you actually like — you'll be playing it for a while.
Then add sealed boxes
Once you know your colours, sealed booster boxes give you the best per-card value for cracking. Japanese OP sets release first and often build their own collector following in the UK, particularly for sets featuring fan-favourite characters.
